Andro Kortua is an experienced urban planner with a Master’s degree in Architecture, currently serving as a Senior City Planning Specialist and Projects Manager at City Institute Georgia. He has contributed to completed projects, including the Updated General Land Use Master Plans of Tbilisi and Gori, General and Development Plans for the city of Borjomi, and Spatial planning documents for multiple settlements, including Saguramo, Galavani, Navdaraantkari, and Jighaura in Mtskheta Municipality, and Choporti and Akhatani in Dusheti Municipality. His expertise lies in coordinating and managing complex planning processes, as well as actively participating in planning decision-making processes. He ensures effective communication between clients, multidisciplinary teams, and stakeholders. He has strong experience in conducting public participation processes and facilitating workshops, supporting inclusive and transparent planning outcomes. Andro has worked extensively with municipalities and official representatives, demonstrating a solid understanding of institutional frameworks and administrative procedures.
