Mamuka Salukvadze

Dr. Professor Mamuka Salukvadze is a highly qualified expert with extensive experience, which includes long-term work in both the public and private sectors. Over the years, he has worked in various responsible positions in the City Hall of Tbilisi, specifically: Dr. Salukvadze was the head of the State Ecological Expertise Department, and the head of the Urban Ecology Department of the Urban Planning Service of the City Hall of Tbilisi. For many years, Mr. Mamuka Salukvadze worked as the head of the City Development Department of the Economic Policy Urban Service of the City Hall of Tbilisi.
In 2012, Dr. Salukvadze was awarded a Doctor of Architecture degree and is a professor at the Georgian Technical University. He is the author of scientific articles and has participated in the planning and implementation of numerous urban projects in Tbilisi over the years.
Dr. Mamuka Salukvadze is the founder and director of "City Institute Georgia," a leading organization in the field of urban development and spatial planning in Georgia. Significant projects implemented under his direct leadership and participation include: Development of Spatial Development and Development Management Documentation for Batumi City Municipality (2021-2025); developing a spatial plan for Saguramo and surrounding settlements (2023-2024); Batumi Spatial Development Plan and Urban Masterplan (2021-2024); General land use plan for City of Gori, Municipality centre (2018-2019); Renewal of Tbilisi General Land Use Master Plan (2015-2018). Tbilisi Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan (2019-2022); Mamuka Salukvadze has been working for years on projects funded by international organizations such as ADB, EU Funds, USAID, GZT, and UNDP;
