Gvantsa Salukvadze, Human Geographer.
Dr. Gvantsa Salukvadze is a social scientist with a PhD in Human Geography, currently serving as a scientific staff member at Tbilisi State University and an affiliated researcher at the University of Zurich. She has over a decade of experience studying socio-economic transitions in rural and mountain regions, focusing on the impacts of global change on local development and livelihoods. Her work combines mixed-method and interdisciplinary approaches, alongside strong experience in managing EU-funded and participatory research projects. She has published widely, presented internationally, and has been recognized with awards, including Forbes 30 Under 30 in Science and the Dimitri Uznadze Prize.
